While Warren County is home to many of the typical mid-western crops, the county also is Iowa’s center for grape and wine production. As of 2007, 20% of all the state’s vineyards are in Warren County. There are three wineries in the county too. Indianola is the home to Make Mine Wine Magazine, a magazine devoted to Iowa and Midwest wines.
